Dr. Tan’s scientific foundation is highlighted by over 15 years of translational research and a portfolio of 37 publications in leading clinical oncology and medical journals. He maintains a highly active and visible presence within the global oncology community, with a proven track record of presenting early-phase clinical trial data and translational research at the world’s premier scientific meetings, including the ASCO Annual Meeting, the AACR Symposium, ESMO, and the Biomarker & Immuno-Oncology World Congress.
Beyond his scientific contributions, Dr. Tan possesses sharp business acumen forged through extensive collaborations with top-tier key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and biopharmaceutical partners across Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Prior to Pythia, his executive leadership as Chief Scientific Officer at Anbogen Therapeutics and Director of Translational Genomic Medicine at ACT Genomics demonstrated his exceptional ability to bridge R&D with commercialization. In these roles, he successfully oversaw corporate strategy, Phase 1B/2 clinical trial execution, out-licensing evaluations, and the regulatory approval and launch of multiplex diagnostic platforms.
Dr. Tan holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the National Defense Medical Center and Academia Sinica.
