Founded in 2022, Pythia Biotech is a Taiwan-based biotechnology innovator dedicated to transforming cancer research, drug discovery, and precision medicine. Born from cutting-edge research at National Tsing Hua University and Taipei Medical University, we bridge the gap between traditional preclinical models and clinical reality by engineering high-fidelity human-relevant tumor microenvironment platforms.
Our team integrates expertise in microphysiological systems (MPS), tumor biology, translational oncology, biomarker science, and multi-omics analytics. Our Core technology: The TME-Chip
At the heart of our platform is the Tumor Microenvironment-Chip (TME-Chip), which moves beyond the limitations of static cell cultures. Utilizing dynamic perfusion, our technology recreates the intricate, high-fidelity interactions between tumor, stromal, and immune cells as they exist in the human body. By simulating this complex physiological environment, the TME-Chip delivers the precise, reliable data needed to de-risk and revolutionize modern oncology pipelines.
