Kang-Yun Lee, MD, Ph.D. | Co-Founder
Prof. Kang-Yun Lee is Vice President of Taipei Medical University, an attending physician in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Shuang Ho Hospital, and a Co-Founder of Pythia Biotech. He received his M.D. degree from the School of Medicine, Taipei Medical University, and earned his Ph.D. from the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London.
Prof. Lee’s expertise spans respiratory medicine, cancer immunology, epigenetic regulation of airway diseases, and the tumor microenvironment. Over the years, he has held several key academic, clinical, and research leadership roles at Taipei Medical University and Shuang Ho Hospital, contributing to the advancement of clinical research, translational medicine, and biomedical innovation.
As a Co-Founder of Pythia Biotech, Prof. Lee provides an important clinical and translational foundation for the development of human-relevant tumor microenvironment models. His expertise in pulmonary medicine, cancer immunology, and tumor biology supports the application of the TME-Chip platform in cancer research, drug development, and precision medicine.
